It has also taken the appearance of the widgets to that of the main Google Calendar application.

Google Calendar

Google has restyled the new widget of Calendar and it is even easier to use than before. It has accessibility to screen readers and also it has keyboard navigation enabled to improve the user experience. This update is designed in a way that everyone will be able to avail of this enhanced feature.

Besides, it was noticed that the text, which is on the Google Calendar widget, is practically higher contrast. The layout is responsive thus making it easier for a page to be designed for viewing in different resolutions. This makes sure that the widget is in its best size for use on devices including desktops, laptops, PCs, and even mobile devices such as tablets, iPhones, and other smartphones.

Google Calendar

This new Google Calendar widget is available to all Google account holders who use Google’s new home page. However, users may not observe the new update soon because it will take some time before the update covers all the client’s users. Based on these changes Google has claimed that they should be observable by October.

With this update, Google has made the calendar widget on the home screen more easily usable and easier on the eyes. The improvements enable the users to manipulate their calendars from within third-party applications.
