Next up is the Fujifilm X-M5 launch targeting Sony’s ZV-E10 II. The camera balances at about 355 grams, which secures it the title of the lightest model in Fujifilm’s X series. This mirrorless camera is offered with a 26.1MP BSI CMOS X-Trans sensor that is powered by an X-Processor 5 imaging processor.

Thanks to this sensor, the camera can record up to 6.2K/30P video in 4:2:2 10-bit. Moreover, it has possibilities of 4K/60P as well as 1080/240P video format in addition to the previous one. Its Vlog Mode includes a 9:16 Short Movie Mode, vertically shot videos for social media uploading within the app.
A new autofocus system is designed by AI to keep the subjects in focus while shooting repeatedly. Rapidly adjustable front and rear control dials let photographers engage functions and select from 20 film simulation modes. On the right side, there is the Dial which has control buttons for Auto Mode that will improve the quality of both images and videos.

Multiple microphones provide crisp sound and minimal interference of outside noise since three of them are integrated into the device. For storage, there’s an SD UHS-II card slot for easy transfer of files between the camera and a computer. The nubbin at the back has a 3-inch LCD with 1.04 million dots that can be twisted for the right angle.
The Fujifilm X-M5 is priced at $799.95 (~RM3,433) for the body only. The kit lens at $999.00 (~RM4,308) is included with the camera body.
