Back in June 2020, Vivo has unveil the Vivo X50 Pro in the region of China. Exactly after a month, Vivo is gearing up to unveil the Vivo X50 Pro globally. So, before the official launch, here’s what we know so far about the Vivo X50 Pro.
1. World’s thinnest 5G smartphone
it has been quite some time since Vivo unveils a smartphone with world-class features. It looks like Vivo is coming back on track now. Telco providers worldwide are on the verge of upgrading their network to support the upcoming 5G technology. This being said, many smartphone makers nowadays are launching smartphones with 5G support. Until today, Vivo hasn’t launched a fully supported 5G smartphone yet.
Finally, Vivo is ready to unveil the Vivo X50 Pro which comes with 5G technology support. The Vivo X50 Pro is the world’s thinnest 5G smartphone to be unveiled in the smartphone market. There are already a few smartphones which comes with 5G support but none of them are the world’s thinnest 5G smartphone. It is official that Vivo X50 Pro will be crowning the world’s thinnest 5G smartphone.
2. It comes with three elegant colours
The next thing we know about the upcoming Vivo X50 Pro is that it will be launching in three elegant colours. Vivo is continuously doing a great job when it comes to choosing colours for smartphones. For the Vivo X50 Pro, Vivo will be focusing on both technology and fashion. Even if you notice the Vivo S1 Pro, it has a fashionable colours which is suitable for the current trend.
The colours of the upcoming Vivo X50 Pro are Frost Blue, Glaze Black and Alpha Grey. According to Vivo, it has also utilise the Anti-Glare frosting process which able to change the colour of the X50 Pro depending on your viewing angle. You probably might have notice this in the latest OnePlus 8 Pro and also in the Huawei P40 Pro. We are looking forward to try the Vivo X50 Pro once its launch in Malaysia soon.
For the Frost Blue version it carries a medium-light shade of cyan-blue, where its smooth surface reflects the beam of light like opal. Whereas the Glaze Black version brings futuristic blend of onyx hues and metallic shades that shimmer like a mirror, while the Alpha Grey is a work of illusory futurism that creates the best mix of both advance technology and high fashion.
3. World’s first gimbal-like camera on a smartphone
Another thing to note about the Vivo X50 Pro is, it will be featuring a gimbal like camera. Back in February 2020, Vivo unveils its Vivo APEX 2020 concept smartphone. One of the feature it has in the Vivo APEX 2020 is a gimbal camera. It was the world’s first smartphone to have this feature. But it was just a concept smartphone back then so it couldn’t be officially declared the world’s first smartphone with gimbal-like camera.
But in the Vivo X50 Pro, it will be the world’s first commercial smartphone to have the gimbal-like camera. With the gimbal-style camera, you can record super steady videos with the Vivo X50 Pro. If you notice in the image above, the Vivo X50 Pro features an array of four cameras. As part of Vivo’s advertising, it uses the slogan “Photography Redefined”. We can see that Vivo is completely focusing on the camera systems for the Vivo X50 Pro.
