CelcomDigi Launches AiX a Cutting-Edge 5G in Malaysia

Officially, CelcomDigi launches its AiX, a state-of-the-art 5G- and AI-powered facility, located in Hi-Tech Park, Subang Jaya. The one initiated by Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil, the purpose behind AiX, is to drive cross-industry collaboration through the power of emerging technologies.

According to CelcomDigi CEO Datuk Idham Nawawi, AiX would integrate with global tech leaders like Huawei, AWS, and Microsoft to execute some of Malaysia’s number one digital ambitions. That, therefore, underlines innovation and sustainable growth for CelcomDigi initiated by RM55 million in collective investment.

A partnership model with AiX, which has a diverse ecosystem of 40 global names and local names, from Huawei, ZTE, AWS, Digital Nasional Berhad, and Ericsson, among others. Companies that enable the co-creation of digital solutions critical to Malaysia’s tech transformation.

AiX features two new exclusive areas: The Infinity and The Gallery. The Infinity provides virtual digital simulations in an immersive way, using state-of-the-art tools, while The Gallery presents real-world industrial use cases in multiple sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, and agritech.

Visitors to AiX get to experience the technologies powered by 5G and AI, deployed across eight verticals, which include logistics, energy, and education. CelcomDigi has also placed on the center stage 13 live-use cases currently piloted with enterprises in Malaysia, proving the very real benefits of these innovations.

With AiX, CelcomDigi creates a milestone in promoting digital innovation in Malaysia. For AiX, which integrates 5G, AI, and other emerging technologies, it will hopefully accelerate the country’s journey to become a reputable digital hub.
