“BlackBerry” is a smartphone brand which we last heard a few years ago. Back in the early 2000’s BlackBerry is one the most famous smartphone which has its own physical QWERTY keyboard. But soon, after Apple unveils the iPhone, things started to change for BlackBerry. People started to use the touch screen keyboard instead of using the physical QWERTY keyboard.

Now, BlackBerry confirms that it will be unveiling its brand new smartphone in 2021. In order to keep the uniqueness of the BlackBerry smartphone, you can expect the 2021 BlackBerry smartphone to have the physical QWERTY keyboard. According to the BlackBerry CEO, John Chen, their upcoming BlackBerry smartphone will be using 5G modem.

BlackBerry makes announcement today saying that it has signed its licensing partnership with OnwardMobility and FIH Mobile Limited. Its current licensing deal with TCL will be ending at the end of August. First of all, the OnwardMobility will be planning its lineup of smartphones to be launched starting 2021 onwards. Whereas the FIH Mobile Limited, will be manufacturing the upcoming 2021 BlackBerry 5G smartphones.

The BB fans are surely going to be excited about it. The reason is because, BlackBerry offers the best security feature on a smartphone. So if you compare with Apple products, BlackBerry also offers almost similar products too. But to those of you who are not fans of BlackBerry smartphone, then you might feel that BlackBerry smartphone sales is not going to rise up even with a new smartphone launch in 2021.

In conclusion, is BlackBerry making the right choices to make a comeback in 2021? We are really looking forward for the announcement from BlackBerry itself.
