This newest gadget comes with an artificial intelligence integrated system that is more emphasized in the Chinese population. At the moment, it is used in China only, however, the intentions for further development are in progress.
They work as smart glasses that come with an assistant built into the AI solution of Baidu, called Ernie. Using this feature one can enquire about his or her environment, listen to music, record videos, and even monitor calorie intake. All the proposed functionalities are supposed to improve the user’s daily routine in one way or another.
Baidu aims at a new generation of users by updating the game in 2025. With the help of AI technology the company Baidu wants to provide individuals with relevant information in real-time moments through these smart glasses.
Currently, Meta holds a share in the smart glasses market, especially among Western countries. However, the entrance of Baidu might be a positive development for Meta or at least healthy competition, especially within Asia. Besides Baidu, TikTok’s stressing parent company has recently introduced earbuds algo in China that answer the user’s queries directly.
