Asus today have made announcement silently that the Asus Zenfone 7 will be launching on 26th August 2020. This news is confirmed through the Asus Taiwan YouTube channel.

Asus smartphone is well known for gaming because of the Asus ROG series smartphone. But unexpectedly, the Asus Zenfone 6 was able to hit the mark to be one of the great smartphone of 2019. The main reason is because of the flipping camera in the Zenfone 6. With the flip camera, you can easily switch between front and rear cameras.

Asus Zenfone 7 Expected Tech Specs

For this year, the Asus Zenfone 7 is expected to use the Zenfone 6 flip camera system. There are a few details regarding the spec of the Asus Zenfone 7. First of all, the Zenfone could be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. Actually, we are expecting Asus to use the Snapdragon 865+. But since the 865+ is only being used for a flagship smartphone, so the Zenfone 7 has 90% chances to use the Snapdragon 865 processor.

From the Asus Zenfone 7 launch photo, you probably can see that there are four circles. There are chances that the Asus Zenfone 7 could feature an array of four cameras. But, at the same time, the four circles could be the value of the battery capacity too. This is because, there are rumours saying that the Zenfone 7 could feature a 5,000mAh battery which supports 30W wired fast charging via USB-C.

In conclusion, we have to wait until 26th of August 2020 to know the full specs of the Asus Zenfone 7. For now, the chances for the Zenfone 7 to launch in Malaysia is quite low. This is due to the Zenfone 6 which did not launch in Malaysia last year. We will keep you guys updated regarding the Zenfone 7.
