Acer has introduced its latest product, which is quite different from its previous ones. I am pretty sure that Acer has unveiled electronic gadgets such as monitors and laptops but this time they have introduced ebii the inaugural smart bicycle. If the previous pedal-powered option didn’t appeal to you, perhaps you should take a look at the ebii, the latest product from the Taiwan-based technology company. This happens to be their first-ever intelligent bicycle.

The intelligent bicycle has a feature called ebiiAssist. It is powered by AI and adjusts to the rider’s pedalling strength. While cycling, the controller utilizes its AI technology to automatically modify the motor’s output. As the owner of this smart bicycle, you can make use of the ebiiGo app. With this app, you can get recommended routes, view the battery life, and your riding speed and also enable and disable auto lock.
Safety is always a priority when you are on the move. ebii ensures a safer ride with the collision detection feature where sensors can detect and alert the riders of incoming cars or other objects to prevent collisions. ebii locks itself automatically when it senses your phone is out of the connection range. You will receive an immediate notification when a potential bike theft is detected. The inbuilt GPS positioning helps you to find your ebii bicycle in any situation.
Unfortunately, Acer has not provided any information regarding the price or the release date of the ebii bicycle yet. It still remains unclear whether Acer intends to introduce its inaugural smart bike to the Malaysian market anytime soon. Fingers crossed, let’s hope this happens in the coming months.
