YouTube is one of the most used video platforms in the world. Daily there are millions of users are browsing videos on YouTube. Recently, YouTube has rolled out a new feature for its users to continue watching videos from iOS or Android to the YouTube web app.
Assuming, you are watching a video on your YouTube for iOS or Android app, suddenly, you had to do something important. Then once you launch the YouTube web app, you will now see a new mini-player at the bottom right of the YouTube page. Below, it will show “Continue watching” where you can continue watching the same video on your YouTube web app.
The mini-player feature has already been there on the YouTube page previously. Now with the “Continue Watching” feature, a similar mini-player will pop down. Once you click on the video, it will open the full video page again. Do note that, this doesn’t work the other way round. According to 9to5Mac, this feature even works when you are watching videos on the Android TV. This means you can continue watching the same video on the YouTube page.
At this moment, it looks like, this feature is available to YouTube Premium users only. Soon we can expect this feature to be rolled out to the free users as well.
