The Xiaomi Mix Flip has been officially launched by Xiaomi Malaysia. This is the first compact foldable smartphone brand in Malaysia. It brings a new foldable competitor into the mix. A rather silly product called the Mix Flip includes a giant cover display and an additional 50MP camera. Also, it is supported by Qualcomm’s top-tier mobile system on a chip.
The local implementation of the Mix Flip resembles the version just unveiled recently at a global level. However, it does not have the special edition of Nylon Fibre. This omission is unfortunate, for that variant appears rather lovely.
Impressive Display Features offered by Xiaomi Mix Flip
The Mix Flip has a 4-inch AMOLED front display. In deciding on this configuration they made their display to have a resolution of 1392 x 1208 pixels. Furthermore, it operates in with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and has a maximum brightness of 3000 nits. The internal show is a 6.86-inch LTPO AMOLED display. It also comes with a resolution of 1224 x 2912 pixels and also the same 120Hz refresh rate and brightness.
Some features of the Mix Flip include a side-placed fingerprint scanner. Comes with stereo speakers and a USB type C port, the device is built with HyperOS which works on Android 14. What’s more, the Mix Flip is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform underneath its hood. This model comes equipped with 12GB RAM and 512 GB ROM. Also, it has a 4,780mAh battery power which supports 67W fast charging technology. The connectivity interfaces consist of dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
Lovers of photography will find the provision for two 50MP cameras of great utility. The big two identifying the photography program include the main camera and the telephoto lens having a 2x optical zoom. There is also a 32 MP selfie camera located inside the internal display notch.
Now there is one model of the Xiaomi Mix Flip that users can order in the Malaysian market. You can purchase it on the brand’s website, Shopee, Lazada, and other authorized dealers. It is designed with Purple and Black colour manufacturers and the cost of the smartphone is RM 4,999.
