China and the United States starts their trade war since last year. To make it even worse, the United States government has blacklist Huawei. This means Huawei will not be able to continue its business with the US tech companies. Earlier today during the dialogue session with Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir, he says that Malaysia will try to make use of Huawei technologies as much as possible. This shows, he truly supports Huawei.

We all know that the United States is the only country in the world which has the strongest research and development facilities. However, now the United States has to accept that the same capability is available here in Asia too. Tun Dr. Mahathir also mainly stressed on the trade ware between these two countries. He told the media, what’s happening between China and the United States is not a healthy competition.

“If I am not ahead, I will ban you, I will send warships

According to him, he strongly agrees to Huawei research capability is way better than Malaysia. He stresses that Malaysia will make use of Huawei technologies as much as possible. At the same time, he also agrees that there is some spying being done by China. Here is the video of a dialogue session with Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir.

Yes, there may be some spying but what is there to spy in Malaysia. We are an open book. Everybody knows. If any country wants to invade Malaysia, they can walk through and we will not resist because it’s a waste of time.

In conclusion, this shows the confidence the Malaysia government has for Huawei. The whole dialogue session at The Nikkei Future of Asia Conference in Tokyo proves Malaysia’s status with Huawei will still remain the same despite the ban by the United States government on Huawei.
