Hey there! Have you heard about the latest feature from Touch ‘n Go eWallet? They’ve just introduced a new payment method for parking called Scan QR. This feature is available at selected parking sites across Malaysia, with up to 70 locations already supported.

The great thing about Scan QR is that you no longer need to search for an autopay station or worry about having the minimum account in your Touch ‘n Go card. Instead, you can simply use the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app to pay for your parking. All you have to do is scan the QR code at the car park entry and exit, and the app will automatically deduct the parking fee on the exit.

The best part is that there are no additional charges by Touch ‘n Go eWallet for using Scan QR, and all charges are based on each parking site’s fares. Plus, you don’t need an internet connection to exit the car park. You just need to scan the QR code upon entry and exit, and the parking fee will be deducted once you’re reconnected to the internet.

In case your smartphone runs out of battery after you enter the car park with Scan QR, don’t worry. The parking management can still issue you a parking ticket as long as you provide them with the phone number linked to your Touch ‘n Go eWallet.

There are currently 60 locations listed on the Touch ‘n Go eWallet website that supports Scan QR, including LRT stations, local malls, and commercial centres. However, they’ve announced that there are a total of 70 locations that support this feature.

So, next time you need to park your car, why not give Scan QR a try? It’s a convenient and hassle-free way to pay for your parking.
