Razer has just announced a new lineup, the Kraken V4 series and the company has announced the Kraken V4 X as the budget version. However, nothing is said regarding the confirmation of the high-end Pro variant to be developed anytime soon.
The Kraken V4 series doesn’t come without some key features from its previous version. It still features Razer’s TriForce Titanium drivers and THX Spatial Audio. The drivers are now 40mm instead of 50mm, which will ensure a well-balanced audio output.
Most importantly, though, the KrakenV4 is now absolutely wireless. It does, however, support three connectivity options: USB-C to USB-A, USB-C HyperSpeed, and Bluetooth. This upgrade makes the device fit with various devices.
The left earcup has a rather neatly retractable microphone with Razer’s technology HyperClear Cardioid, bringing enhanced clarity to voice-over gaming sessions. Game and chat audio can be tuned further with the help of the chat mix button.
Razer further confirmed that only the Kraken V4 X will be coming to Malaysia. It will be available in late Q3 2024, at a price of RM479.
