MYStartup in collaboration with WatchTower and Friends has today announced the opening of its Pre-Accelerator Cohort 5. All these funds are up to 6th November 2024 and are open for application. It targets Malaysian startups in the technology sector that desire to grow.
This program will run from October 2024 to February 2025 and is a practical training program. Early-stage founding teams will be able to receive advice, and immediate tools, and define a program that will help them grow. The stakeholders that will benefit are startups who will acquire the information that will help them hone their business models, test and prove markets, and attract capital.
Of the applications, the Top 5 startups will be selected to join a highly selective accelerator to work on investment readiness. They will acquire fundamental resources and connections to take their startups to the next level beyond pre-accelerator status. This cohort also features RM35,000 in prizes to provide more support to potential Startups.
Courses will include such topics as the business model, the minimum viable product, and ESG. The people I will be targeting are the startups and they will learn how to align their co-founders and define goals among other things that lead to sustainable growth plans. Knowledgeable in detailing these, the facilitated sessions held three times a week lead the startups through each of them.
