Sony has revealed throwback PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles to commemorate the platform’s 30th anniversary this year. These chats (or limited edition) are available in gray color and incorporate the vintage PlayStation emblem. Old-school gamers would fall head over heels for these designs if they were as young as the gaming console brought into the market by Sony.
The affiliation of design and aesthetics work together here since Sony has given extra attention to the new DualSense controller. They have also incorporated unique cable ties with PlayStation design and retro vertical stand as well as packaging. That is why this bundle makes players feel like being in the ‘90s.
Two bundles are available. The PS5 bundle can be a digital-only console and several themed accessories. On the other hand, the PS5 Pro bundle comes with a DualSense Edge controller, a PlayStation disc cover as well as a charging stand.
Not even the PlayStation Portal is spared from going through a makeover with the obvious presentation of a retro design. Some wanted to have that feel of the old controllers and there are redesigned controllers also available in the market to purchase separately.
Free trial for preorder starts on September 26 while the limited edition will be released on November 21.
