LG Electronics is making it possible to play cloud games on its 2023 TVs in over 80 countries. The TVs now support 4K quality for NVIDIA GeForce NOW games. The popular Boosteroid service will also be launched in over 60 countries. These new additions are in addition to the Blacknut and Utomik services that were added in 2022.
LG TV users can now access various gaming services straight from their home screens using the Game Quick Card Feature. The gaming services available include GeForce NOW, Utomik, Blacknut, Boosteroid, Twitch, and YouTube. The LG OLED TVs used for gaming have a response time of 0.1 milliseconds and low input lag, resulting in a smoother gameplay experience. LG’s premium TVs come with Game Optimizer and customization options to provide a personalized gaming experience with game-genre-specific picture settings.
If you have LG TV from 2023, you can play games on GeForce NOW without needing to download or install anything else. You can play at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. If you have LG TV from 2020-2022, you can play on GeForce NOW at Full HD resolution and 60 frames per second. Some 2022 models will be able to play at 4K resolution later. Games like Cyberpunk 2077, No Man’s Sky, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will look even better on LG’s premium TVs when played through GeForce NOW.
LG TV now has Boosteroid, a cloud gaming service with millions of users worldwide. LG TV owners can access hundreds of PC video games without needing a console or set-top box.
