With the iPhone 16, Apple has made an incredible design shift that is especially noticeable when compared to the iPhone 15. Leaked iPhone 16 cases reveal a radically altered external design and form factor, including with a vertical camera arrangement.

To improve tactile user interfaces, a new physical camera shutter button should be included. For improved aesthetics, the iPhone 16 has two cameras located on a horizontally shifted camera island. This new avatar will be able to record 3D videos, or spatial videos as they are more commonly called.

Apple has shifted the flash unit sideways, which noticeably resembles the design of the iPhone X. With the introduction of an action button, the mute switch on the iPhone 16 is eliminated. Apple introduced an Action button with the recently launched iPhone 15 Pro series, enabling additional functionality.

The move underlines how much emphasis Apple puts on its innovative user-centered design. Apple fitted an extra camera shutter button within the iPhone 16, which will be powered by that haptic engine, making photo capture easier. Contrasted with buttonless design speculations, Apple includes more buttons in the iPhone 16 for better tactile feedback.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus retain 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch OLED screens, respectively. Apple enhances performance with the refined A17 Pro chip. Configurations include 6/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The iPhone 16 series blends advanced design with enhanced functionality for evolving user needs.

With the iPhone 16, fans of Apple can anticipate a new age of innovation. Apple promises major upgrades and plans to launch officially in September.
