Infinix releases its very first tablet with Android, the XPAD. The entry-level device comes with a low-end MediaTek processor but is done in a premium metal unibody design. It arrives with an AI voice assistant, Folax, on its shoulder, powered by ChatGPT.

This XPAD includes an 11-inch LCD 1920×1200 display, 90 Hz refresh, 440 nits, uniform bezels, and peak brightness for a smooth, clear user view.
The SoC under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G99. It is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, additionally, there is also a microSD card slot for further expansion. The device runs on XOS 14, which is based on Android 14, hence offering a rather modern software experience.
It’s photography equipment with two 8MP cameras—one facing the back and another in front. About photography, the tablet is enabled by a 7,000 mAh battery powering 18W wired charging. The battery levels of the device can reach 50% within a record time of 40 minutes.
The XPAD comes in three color options and will be available in two memory options. Even though it has just appeared in the SIRIM database, from the amount it would suggest that it should be heading to Malaysia pretty soon, but at this point there is no indication about when, nor any word on pricing either.
