Google has finally launched its online store in Malaysia. The Google e-store, which is finally coming out after the company’s keynote address, means that consumers in Malaysia can now get a first-hand view of Google products via the site. However, till now The store hasn’t supported online transactions.
Most of the products are also part of the Google e-store, with the Pixel 9 series included in the list. Others are the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2. However, the list does not contain the Pixel Pro 9 Fold. The foldable gadget still seems to be missing from the list of what it contains now.
While the shop is a product catalog, it still does not back the purchase of Smart 5G gadgets directly from the shop. Instead, it features local retailers with Smart 5G gadgets as bigshots on its site, with the likes of CelcomDigi, Maxis, and Urban Republic at the forefront of others.
Thus, the shop features hyperlinks to Google Pixel shops on Shopee and Lazada. These online shops are still empty at that stage. Thus, customers will just have to wait for a later date to see new gadgets in stock.
As of now, there is no information on how much retailers would sell the products listed, nor are the links provided to authorized resellers working. That being the case, shoppers will have to wait for such information.
