Not so long ago, Samsung launched the Galaxy A06 in Vietnam, and it is presented as an entrance into the entry-level market for the company. This new device comes fitted with a 6.7-inch LCD, slightly larger than that of the previous generation. It has a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. From the top, it features a small notch designed to accommodate an 8MP selfie camera.

Under the hood lies the MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core chipset. The front is equipped with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. The phone gets its power from a 5000mAh battery and offers support for 25W fast charging via USB-C.
In the photography department, it comes with a dual camera setup at the back: a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a loudspeaker, and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the Galaxy A06.
It runs with Android 14 and the latest Samsung One UI. For connectivity, it features dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.3, however, there is no support for NFC. With a starting price of VND3,190,000 (~RM561) for the base model, the device was launched with 4GB + 64GB in Vietnam.
Notably, Samsung Malaysia recently listed a support page for the phone on its website, suggesting that the Galaxy A06 may finally be launched in Malaysia soon.
