We are already in the month of April, which is the right time for Apple to confirm us the date of its 2021 Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC21). As expected Apple has finally announces the date for its largest event. The WWDC21 is scheduled to be held on 7th June 2021 until 11th June 2021.

Obviously once again, due to the current pandemic Apple has decided to have the even virtually. This is similar to last years WWDC20 which happened virtually where millions of viewers joined the event. Even though, the COVID19 vaccination is available throughout the world, yet Apple makes its decision to do it virtually.

As usual, during the WWDC21 event, Apple will be showing off its latest software development for iOS devices, mac OS devices and also other Apple devices too. Besides that, WWDC will be an important event for all app developers where they can get insight on the latest tools and framework.

Swift Student Challenge is back once again

On top of that, through the Swift Student Challenge, Apple also will be continuing its long-standing tradition of supporting student who is interested in coding. If you are a student who loves coding, then this challenge is for you. You can create your own Swift playground and submit to Apple starting today until 18th April 2021. For more info visit the Swift Student Challenge website.

In conclusion, this year we can expect Apple to give us a preview on iOS 15, iPadOS 15, watchOS 8, macOS 12 and tvOS 15. As usual, developers can get access to this software with early-stage beta releases. We will be covering the event live too through our WWDC21 live blog. Stay tuned for the updated link soon.
