Introducing the Apple Watch Series 10, replacing the Series 9, this new series offers an updated design and upgraded capabilities. For example, its chassis measures 9.7mm thick, making it 10% lighter than its predecessor. The screen is also larger, meaning better readability on an OLED.

From the design perspective, the Watch Series 10 comes with one major change newer, thinner chassis allowed Apple to reposition the onboard speakers. For the first time in history, users can play audio straight from the watch. It allows playing music and podcasts directly from the wrist.

It’s also powered by Apple’s latest S10 chip, which includes a 4-core neural engine for better performance. The new watch will run watchOS 11, which brings quite several new apps focused on fitness and health. Updates like these should go a long way in offering superior health monitoring.

Among them is the Sleep Apnea detection. This new feature tracks the breathing pattern of the user as he sleeps. This may, however not be available in Malaysia right away since its FDA approval had been delayed. Users will have to wear the watch even as they sleep to avail themselves of this feature.

The Apple Watch Series 10 will be available from September 20, and there are four variants: natural, gold, dark slate grey, and Grade 5 recycled Titanium. Prices start at RM1,799 for the GPS-only variant, while variants offering mobile support go for RM2,449, and the titanium models go for RM3,299.
