After announcing revised Unifi Fibre Broadband pricing, TM offered a free speed upgrade to existing subscribers, excluding those on the 2Gbps and RM69/month 30Mbps plans, allowing them to move to the next speed tier at the same subscription price.
Here are the new speed upgrades based on your existing plan:
- 30Mbps to 100Mbps
- 100Mbps to 300Mbps
- 300Mbps to 500Mbps
- 500Mbps to 800Mbps
- 800Mbps to 1Gbps
The initiative aims at enhancing the digital experience for both home and business Unifi customers at no extra charge. The transition is set to occur in phases from October 2023 until December 2023, targeting over 3 million Unifi customers. During this period, eligible subscribers will be auto-upgraded to speeds up to 3x current, with no billing change. No contract renewal is needed unless you opt for new devices or additional deals.
Customers will be upgraded by default, and they can check their eligibility for the speed upgrade through the Unifi Self-Care portal. Once logged in, eligible customers will be notified under the “My Account” section. After the upgrade, customers can perform a speed test to confirm the enhancement. Although the bill will reflect the previous plan name initially, the new package name and details will be updated in the bill and profile in phase.
This upgrade follows Unifi’s broadband price reduction, reflecting TM’s pledge for higher speeds at lower prices. It coincides with new Unifi packages, offering better online connectivity and next-gen services at no extra cost.
