A week ago, Samsung has confirmed that if you use a third-party screen protector, anyone can unlock your Samsung Galaxy S10 and also Samsung Galaxy Note 10. Due to that, Samsung has promised to roll out a software update to fix the fingerprint scanner issue.

Finally, Samsung starts to roll out the software update to Samsung Galaxy S10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10 users. However, the moment Samsung rolls out the software update is only applicable to the users in South Korea. Now, we can officially say, Samsung has roll out the software update globally too. This includes South East Asia countries such as Malaysia too.

In countries such as the UK, banks have blacklisted both the S10 and Note 10 from its banking mobile apps. Besides that, the Bank of China has also removed the fingerprint security feature temporarily from its app too.

If you have come across this new software update from Samsung, then you should re-register your fingerprints once again after updating your S10 or Note 10.
