Along with the Realme 5, Realme unveils Realme 5 Pro which is the premium smartphone in the Realme 5 series. Most of the features and specs are almost similar to the Realme 5. However, there are some additional changes comparing to the Realme 5. By looking at the tagline of Realme 5 Pro it says “Quad Camera Speedster”. Let’s further analyse it in the specs section.

Realme 5 Pro Specs

Talking about the display, the Realme 5 Pro has a smaller display than the Realme 5. It maintains the similar 6.3″ Full HD+ Dewdrop display as in the current Realme 3 Pro. However, the Realme 5 Pro offers a 90.6% screen-to-body ratio which almost covers the whole screen until the body. The display also supports Night mode for eye care. It has a 16MP f/2.0 front selfie camera which uses Sony IMX 471 sensor. This image sensor supports both AI HDR and AI Beauty.

The back of Realme 5 Pro is the same quad-camera setup which exists in the Realme 5. It has a Sony IMX586 48MP f/1.79 main camera with an 8MP f/2.25 ultra-wide-angle lens. With the ultra-wide-angle lens, you can take similar 119-degrees wider photos which exist in the Realme 5. Additionally, it has a Double Lens Distortion Correction Technology (DLDC) which helps to capture excellent portraits and scenery images. The other two cameras are the 2MP portrait lens and the same 2MP macro lens. You can also capture a cool low-light picture using the Super Nightscape mode.

For video-wise, the Realme 5 Pro supports 4K videos at 30fps and 720p at 960fps for slow-mo. However, the Realme 5 Pro does not come with the Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) which electronically stabilises shaky videos. That could be one of the downsides of the Realme 5 Pro.

Under the hood is the new 2.3GHz Snapdragon 712 processor which increases the performance to 10% higher than the previous Realme 3 Pro processor. On the other hand, the Realme 5 Pro supports up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. If you wish to expand the current storage, you can do it via microSD card which supports up to 256GB.

The Realme 5 Pro is powered by 4,035mAh battery which supports Oppo’s VOOC Flash Charging. Comparing to the Realme 5, the Pro version has a smaller battery whereas the Realme 5 has a larger battery. However, it does not supports fast charging. Moreover, the Realme 5 Pro now supports charging via USB-C port.
