When it comes to vehicle petrol, Malaysian’s most used petrol brand is Petronas. Most of the Malaysian’s prefer to use Malaysia’s own brand rather than other imported brands. Now, Petronas is introducing Malaysia’s first mobile refueling service called Rovr. Rovr is similar to a petrol station, however, it is more mobile where it will be a convenience for vehicle drivers.
Back in October 2018, Petronas introduces Rovr as a pilot program. Since then, via Rovr more than one million liters of fuel have been delivered to both customers and business users. After receiving a lot of positive feedback from their business-to-business (B2B) customers, Rovr is ready to provide more to other entities says the CEO of Petronas Dagangan Berhad, Dato’ Sri Syed Zainal Abidin. According to him, this will be an effective way to refuel businesses that own vans and trucks.
How to apply Rovr for business
Do you have fleets of vans and trucks which need to refuel constantly? Rovr Ranger team is there to help you need. Just follow a few of the simple steps to get started. First, you have to schedule your appointment with Rovr. Then the Rovr Ranger will come to your place to fill up your vehicle tanks. Once the refueling process is complete, you can directly pay using your SmartPay card. You can start to apply for the SmartPay card from here.
How to apply Rovr for consumers
Need your car to refuel follow these steps below to get it to refuel while waiting you can enjoy listening to your favorite song. First of all, when you need to refuel your car you can drive to the nearest hotspot locations. There will be Rovr trucks stations at these hotspot locations. Same as refueling at the Petronas station, you can select the payment method and also use your Mesra card to earn points. All you need to do is park your vehicle near the Rovr truck and while you are sitting inside Rovr Ranger will fill up your car tank.
In conclusion, Petronas says by the end of this year, they will expand the Rovr trucks nationwide. At this moment, we still not sure whether there will be an app for the users to locate the nearest Rovr hotspot location and earn Mesra points directly from the app. We will update once there is an update.
