Back in December 2018, Vivo launches the world’s first smartphone with a popup selfie camera. Next, Oppo F11 Pro launches its own popup selfie camera. Now, it appears that Huawei is planning to solve the punch-hole display by following the trend of popup selfie camera. Huawei might be calling it Huawei P Smart Z.
This means the same as the Vivo NEX and Oppo F11 Pro, the Huawei P Smart Z will have a full display without a notch or punch-holes on the front screen. Taking selfies will be very easy because by tapping on the selfie button, the camera will pop up by using a motorized mechanism.
As expected the Huawei P Smart Z will be using the Kirin 710 processor. This was first reported by the Mobielkopen which is a Dutch website. According to the website, the Huawei P Smart Z is a mid-range smartphone which will have a 6.59″ display panel with a resolution of 2340×1080. It also might have a 4GB RAM and a 64GB storage.
Evan Blass releases a high-quality render of the Huawei P Smart Z on his Twitter account. According to him, this new smartphone could possibly come in three different colors as shown in his tweet below.
From the tweet above, we can see Huawei will be adding the fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone. The back side will have a 16MP + 2MP dual camera with AI photography assistance. The front side will have a 16MP f/2.0 camera sensor.
In conclusion, Huawei launches mid-range smartphones under the model of Nova series. We can assume that this could be the next Nova 4i. As for now, we still have not received any updates on the pricing details it could be for sale. We will update once we receive updates on this smartphone.
