In an effort to enhance the quality of bus and rail travel throughout Malaysia, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) recently launched the Mystery Shopper Program (MSP), through which customers can provide feedback on the company’s services through the MyRapid PULSE app which can be downloaded by both Android and iOS smartphones.
Moreover, the programme was developed as an extension of the Readiness and Standby Audit Committee (AKSES), a self-audit conducted by railway station managers that focused on many elements such as cleanliness, ease of access, lighting, facilities, signs, and elevator and escalator conditions.
As you may experience it yourself or seeing the updates on social media, several train accidents have occurred in recent months, including leaving travellers stranded, waiting in longer-than-usual lines, and false emergency breaks.
Therefore, Transport Minister Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong explained that the initiative’s primary goal is to solicit honest feedback from Rapid KL passengers. For your info, 147 train stations and 10 bus terminals nationwide will be using the new programmes.
In addition, according to Wee, there are no requirements to become a member of the Mystery Shopper panel, however, panel members will be selected randomly. You can get the PULSE app from Google Play or the App Store if you’re interested in being a Mystery Shopper for the programme.
