Windows 7 is the most used Windows OS in the world. But now its time for you to say goodbye to Windows 7. If you are still using Windows 7 as your primary OS soon you will be receiving push notifications about its end of support. Microsoft has planned to stop supporting Windows 7 on January 14 2020. Microsoft will start the push notification beginning next month onward. Not only that, this means, Microsoft Office 2010 also will stop receiving security updates. According to Microsoft, their main intention is to convince the consumers to upgrade to Windows 10 OS and Office 365.
During the Windows 10 upgrade period, the notification which pops to the user was very irritating to certain people. Learning from their mistake, Microsoft has added an option to select “do not remind me again” on the notification. By selecting the option, you won’t be shown the notification. Automatically, the notifications will stop once the Windows 7 supports ends on next year.
The current Windows 10 is running on more than 800 million devices. Microsoft is expected to reach its goal of 1 billion devices soon by next year. If you still using the Windows 7, now its time for you to make to switch for Windows 10.
