Still in high demand is the brand new Touch ‘n Go card with NFC capability. As you know, or even experience it yourself, the app consistently facing some issues caused by heavy traffic ever since Touch ‘n Go published a large batch on its eWallet earlier this month.
However, Lazada is currently selling the new TNG card for those who choose to avoid paying the hefty prices charged by online resellers.
The new card went on sale on 9th September but it was already sold out on the same day. Lazada claims that its LazMall is the first and only place where the new TNG card can be purchased. Customers must pay with the TNG eWallet app at checkout to purchase the card at the standard retail price of RM10.
But only one person can buy 1 Enhanced Touch ‘n Go card within 6 months of the date it was bought. This is to avoid the reselling of the card at a higher price. Moreover, if you’d rather not buy it online, you can also buy the Enhanced Touch ‘n Go card at any gas station, if the stock is still available.
At the time of writing, the TNG card is still out of stock on Lazada and it is still unsure when it will be available again. Customers may want to check the online store from time to time though, in case it is being restocked again.
