September is going to be action-packed for Huawei. The tri-fold device launches on the very day when new iPhones turn up. Furthermore, there is a Huawei Watch-related event scheduled for the week after, promising innovations for their smartwatch lineups.
On September 19, an event in Barcelona was announced via Huawei’s official account on X. Included was a teaser image showing two watches with a roundish polygon bezel, possibly signaling a new addition to the Huawei Watch GT series.
While it seems the headlining act is the Watch GT series, there could be other variants, updates for the Watch Fit series, a successor to the Watch D, or even a Watch Ultimate model. Given Huawei has such a wide range of smartwatches, more than one new release might be in order.
Although the teaser has given us a good idea, the exact details of the new watches remain blurry. Judging from the teaser, we assume a new Watch GT is coming, but all that shall be confirmed at the commencement of the event. We keep guessing just what exactly will arrive as Huawei’s latest smartwatches.
