Meta is inching closer to its annual developer conference. Meta Connect 2024 gatherings will occur on September 25 and 26. There will be new points of interest to follow this year, particularly during the plenary sessions of the first day.

The Meta Connect 2024 keynote event will be streamed live on Facebook by the Meta company. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend all of them – but one that I will be present at is going to be held on Meta’s Developer page. Or you can do the keynote within Horizon Worlds at least in a virtual manner. However, YouTube livestreaming is not guaranteed for the finals, as prior years indicate.
This is why it’s likely that Mark Zuckerberg is going to present Meta Connect 2024 for new features on mixed reality and wearables. The product can also arrive with new features and products, especially considering that the keynote is always a platform used by a company to introduce something new. This is about devices like potentially augmented reality glasses that have been rumored in the market for some time.
Introducing the Quest 3S
Rumors indicate that Meta Connect will unveil the Quest 3S, an entry-level VR headset. At around $300, it may replace the Quest 2. This new version is believed to perform much better and is also easy to access by users.
Ray-Ban Meta Glasses Updates
Meta may also reveal a new Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses application for augmented reality. Meta Connect 2024 will most probably showcase the revitalized collaboration between Meta, also known as Facebook and EssilorLuxottica. Some of the extra features could also be added for the smart glasses at this point or in the future.
Artificial intelligence will be an important focus of this Meta Connect developer’s keynote with updates across its devices. AI integration is at the centerpiece along with its Meta headsets and smart glasses. The Llama large language model could also be brought up during this discussion as well too.
