After all the wait, Google has finally come out with the Pixel 9 seriesโthe much-talked-about sequel. Available in three different models of the Pixel 9 series; the Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL, each will be powered by the newest Google Tensor G4 chipset and come pre-installed with the latest Android 14 OS. Besides, they have had a design refresh for an upgraded language, a flat frame, and a pill-shaped camera bump that will instantly shout its identity.

The Pixel 9 features a 6.3-inch OLED display with a screen resolution of 1080×2424 pixels. It reaches as high as 120Hz for refresh rate and peaks at 2,700 nits in brightness. This variant is available with 12GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. Moreover, it supports 45W fast charging. On the back, it features a dual camera with a 50MP primary sensor and an ultra-wide lens that is 48MP.
The Pixel 9 Pro & The Pixel 9 Pro XL

The Pixel 9 Pro keeps the same screen size of 6.3 inches but at higher resolution and brightness. It brings with it up to 16GB of RAM and storage from 128GB to 1TB.
Triple cameras include a 48MP telephoto sensor, while there is a 42MP selfie camera at the front. The Pro will charge faster, though, and adds several other unique features for capturing images.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL is different from these in that it sports a larger 6.8-inch display and a bigger 5,060mAh battery, otherwise, it comes with very similar specifications to the Pixel 9 Pro in terms of fast charging and the same camera setup. The XL is an option targeting those who want more screen real estate with an extension to its battery life.
The Pixel 9 will be available in Peony, Wintergreen, Porcelain, and Obsidian colors across the board. The prices are fixed at $799 for the base variant, $999 for the Pro, and $1,099 for the Pro XL. Local pricing and availability are yet to be announced later today.
