Google announced that the Google Pixel 9 Pro series has finally hit Malaysia. It will feature two models, the Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro XL. This differs from the single size available on the Pixel 8 Pro.
The Google Pixel 9 Pro features a 6.3-inch display, while the XL variant has a 6.8-inch screen. In both, one finds the super-actu LTPO OLED panel, which represents a high refresh rate and brightness. Other durability features on both devices include Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an IP68 rating.
The battery on the Pixel 9 Pro measures 4,700mAh, while the XL variant comes with a 5,060mAh capacity. Both variants support fast wired and wireless charging, with the latter being faster on the XL. Charging speeds are impressive, with the Pro XL hitting 70% in just 30 minutes.
Equipped with the new Tensor G4 chip, the Pixel 9 Pro series devices will pack some of the best AI capabilities available in any flagship smartphone. Among them are enhanced image stabilization and AI-powered image modes. Other improvements to the devices include 16GB of RAM, with different storage variants, to ensure a smooth user experience.
Pre-orders for the Pixel9 Pro series are now available in Malaysia, starting from a price of RM3,999. Variants will be available soon through multiple retailers, including CelcomDigi and Lazada. Watch local pricing and availability updates.
