Google had to discontinued the Google Photos app for Android TV due to the privacy concern issue. Two days ago, a bug has been found by a Twitter user. The bug technically allows the Android TV users to view other Google Photos accounts user. This mean anyone having the same model of Android TV, the user can view their “private” images.

Google have stated that they had to disable the app until they completely resolve the issue. Other than that, another Twitter user have reported the same issue too. According to Android Police, Google have verified that “it was not an issue of Vu Television but it was a software malfunction of the Google Home App. Once it is resolved Google will continue the application. For now, there isn’t any timeline on when the issue could be resolve by Google.
