Apple has just made available the developer betas for iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, which include the first set of Apple Intelligence features. Notably, Siri has an all-new design and holds context much better. New features in Mail include smart replies and email summaries.

Install and join a waitlist in Settings. You’ll be informed when access is ready. Simultaneously, Apple also pushed the second public beta of iOS 18.1 out which was released today. The update includes features from a recent developer beta.

It also features other stuff, such as RCS support on more carriers, new CarPlay wallpapers, and dark mode widgets in light mode. Apple announced these AI features first back in June during the WWDC event. They made the public iOS 18 beta available on July 15th.

Apple’s 18.1 update strategy is different. It is observed that the company is trying to launch the features to the public and debug them so that this fall while launching it for the iPhone 16, they can ensure a smooth launch.
