What is GPS rollover?
GPS rollover is an event where devices go crazy after 19.7 years to be exact. The last time GPS rollover issue happened to devices was on August 1999. The most recent GPS rollover happened on April 2019. The GPS systems record each of the weeks as a 10-digit binary number. Which this is equivalent to 1,024 weeks. During this time, most of the phone features such as GPS and Emails become unusable.
Although the GPS rollover happened in April, Apple has immediately all its devices to the latest iOS update. But, now Apple is aggressively insisting iPhone 5 users update their iPhone to iOS 10.3.4.
