The ‘Far Out’ event that will be held on 7 September 2022 or 8 September 2022 (Malaysian time) is expected to reveal plenty of new Apple products and the most anticipated device is the iPhone 14 lineup.
As reported by a source, the event will centre on the new iPhone 14 models, with a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.7-inch iPhone Max, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 lineup may come at higher prices than any of the previous iPhone models and with that kind of price, Apple must have done some major upgrades on it too.
It is speculated that the iPhone 14 Pro models have two display cutouts instead of a notch. The Face ID dot projector and other Face ID components will be housed in a pill-shaped cutout, while the front-facing camera will be housed in a second circular cutout. On the other hand, non-Pro models are expected to retain the standard notch. In addition, rumours said that iPhone 14 could get a new A16 Bionic chip as well while the non-Pro models are expected to retain the A15 chip as the current iPhone 13 models.
As for the camera, Apple is also expected to upgrade the camera setup at the back to a 48MP shooter with a larger sensor. Regarding the front camera, all models may receive an improved lens with a wider aperture and autofocus capabilities.
The launch event seems to happen earlier this year and users may expect to make their pre-orders as early as late September.
