As reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple Inc. plans to hold a launch event for the iPhone 14 lineup on September 7. We can probably see multiple Apple products including the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, the latest Macs, low and high-end iPads, and three Apple Watch models at the event.
There will be some major changes made to the iPhone 14 Pro line. For instance, Apple will replace the front-facing camera cutout, or “notch,” with a pill-shaped hole for Face ID sensors and a hole-punch-sized area for the camera. This will give users a little bit more room on their screens. The iPhone 14 Pro will also get a faster chip. Other than that, Gurman also stated that Apple intends to enhance the battery life and video recording capabilities of its devices.
Other than that, Apple is expected to announce updates to the Apple Watch, such as a redesigned Apple Watch SE and a new watchOS 9 for the wearable operating system.
Gurman also added that Apple’s new iPhone is typically available for purchase around a week and a half after its unveiling, and this year is expected to follow suit. Staff at select stores have been informed that they must get ready for the launch of a new product on September 16th. With that being said, you need to start saving some money starting now if you are planning to do an Apple shopping spree next month.
Moreover, instead of holding a physical meeting, the company will continue streaming the event online just like during the start of the pandemic. A further announcement about the event might be released soon.
